Edgewater Technical Associates is Hiring a Quality Assurance Representative Near Oak Ridge, TN
Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Quality Assurance Representative opportunity for our customer in Oak Ridge, TN to support a DOE Project.
Work will be performed on-site at the project location in Oak Ridge, TN.
Local candidates preferred.
Scope of Work
Provide independent review of contractor QA/QC implementation during field construction activities. Ensure contract requirements are being meet including material specification and technical specifications. Walkdown construction site and monitor activities to ensure hold points are complied with. Mentor project QA/QC rep as required to ensure work is completed in compliance with requirements. Schedule third party inspections and testing activities (concrete testing, compaction testing, and welding).
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
Experience
10-20 years of related experience.
Prior Training Qualifications:
In depth knowledge of the QA/QC principles and practical applications related to regulatory requirements of the Department of Energy Price-Anderson Amendments Act, Defense Nuclear Facility Safety Board, and Environmental Protection Act.
